Child Development  

Child development is a full year , one credit course for junior senior students who are interested in a career in Early Childhood Education or related careers that involve children. In order to take this course, one must successfully complete the Early Childhood prerequisite. 

Child Development is a college credit course that includes the study of how children learn through the stages of development.  This course includes an experiential 10-week preschool in which students are expected to prepare and present lessons to the preschool students.  Students are required to attend observation field trips of selected day care, elementary schools and community preschool programs.
